THE STUDIO
Lucent Arc is an independent creative studio founded in 2003, based in London. Twenty years of campaign production, digital design and creative direction across an array of sectors including luxury, entertainment and lifestyle, from global corporations to solo founders.
Since 2024 we have extended that standard into AI creative direction, generating campaign imagery and video that performs at the level of a traditional production, without the overhead.

AI is part of how we work, not a replacement for how we think. It lets us move faster, test more directions and execute at a pace that wasn't possible a few years ago. What hasn't changed is the judgement behind it: every output is still directed, curated and refined by a human eye before it goes anywhere near a client.

Philosophy & Approach
Founder + Creative Director
Sonya has spent over 25 years shaping the visual architecture of youth culture, luxury and entertainment. Driven by a deep passion for editorial composition and counterculture storytelling, her career began at the intersection of film and music, leading landmark creative and marketing campaigns across four major global record labels.
In 2003, she founded Skinny, a London-based independent creative studio initially specialising in music TV and radio commercials, alongside music and business marketing consultancy, before expanding into comprehensive digital design, print and web ecosystems in 2006.
In 2022, the emergence of advanced generative systems sparked a clean evolutionary shift for the studio. Shifting heavy technical overhead into immediate, imagination-driven execution, Sonya integrated AI creative direction to bypass traditional production limits without sacrificing an ounce of compositional soul. In 2025, to better reflect this highly evolved, future-facing studio model, Skinny officially rebranded as Lucent Arc.
Today, she directs a studio that leverages decades of real-world taste to command the next medium of design, maintaining an uncompromising commitment to ethical brand partnerships and elite human curation.
